Myra Davis

With over twenty seven years in the information technology field, Myra Davis is the Sr. Vice President/Chief Information Officer at Texas Children's Hospital.  Currently as the Sr.VP/CIO of Information Services, Myra has the responsibility to enhance the operation and services of the IS department by maintaining on-going emphasis on partnerships, customer values, project management, teamwork and implementation of successful operational practices.  Her responsibilities include leading a senior leadership team of 5 and a staff of 350.

Myra is innovative and accustomed to a heavy workload while possessing strong communication and leadership skills.  In addition, she has the ability to successfully work with Senior Management and Executives and is skilled in project planning, team building and an adept negotiator.  She has proven ability to produce project results that meet or exceed client’s expectations.
